The bearings that work at temperature above 150℃ are called high temperature bearings.
When the bearing contained Cr is used at the temperature above 150℃，its hardness will be decreased sharply and its dimensions will be unstable,which will result in the the fail of bearing.Therefore,for bearings used at the temperature of 150℃~250℃，If their rings and rolling elements are still made of usual high carbon chromium bearing steel，special heattreatment must be carried out to the components of bearings，such as the tempering under the temperature of 50 ℃ below work temperature.The bearing steel treated by the above tempering will be worked normally.But the hardness of bearing may be reduced because of tempering ,so is the life of bearing.
When the working temperature of bearing is above 250℃，it is suggested that high temperature bearing steel is chosed.

Cage material
- PEEK：Suitable for temperature≤260℃,or temperature ≤350℃ after reinforced by glass fiber or carbon fiber
- PTFE：≤260℃。
- Polyimide：≤260℃。
- PPS：≤200~240℃,instantaneous temperature≤260℃。
- Pressed steel plate or solid metal cage：Application where engineering plastic is not suitable.
Lubricant：
- Lubricant with PTFE and taking fluorinated polyether oil as base is suitable for applications below 300℃
- Lubricantcontaining PEG and graphite is suitable for Applications below 500℃.
Seal material：
- FKM：Suitable for -20℃~200℃，If it is added with special additive,it is suitable for -40℃~250℃。
- VMQ：Suitable for -50℃~220℃，If added with special additive,it is suitable for-100℃~250℃。
Seal made of FKM an Silicone rubber：Suitable for -50℃~175℃，Suitable for -60℃~200℃ if added with special additive
