The gear is made of 40Cr.
The difficult of it is that the gear shaft is very thin with tight tolerance.
The gear is Circular Arc Gear Tooth,Circular arc gear features heavy-load endurance and smooth operation, yet relies on special cutters & high-precision equipment with high production cost and low interchangeability.
But it is difficult to manufacture it because of following reasons:
1.Special customized cutting tools, poor versatility.Separate form cutters for convex & concave teeth, incompatible with standard involute cutter.
2.Complex curved tooth profile, difficult profiling.Arc curved profile cannot be processed on conventional standard hobbing machine.
3.Complicated fixture setup, high precision requirement for machine tools.Special CNC arc gear hobbing/grinding equipment required, long setup & commissioning cycle.
4.Strict paired machining requirement, poor interchangeability.Most arc gears are paired lapped & matched, single replacement difficult after damage.5.High cost for precision grinding.Custom arc grinding wheel with tough dressing, higher processing cost than involute gear.
In order to meet the special requirements of customer,luoyang jiayu design and produce this gear shaft with the feature of:
1.Good tooth surface contact, high load-carrying capacity.Convex-concave meshing realizes line contact, load capacity 30%~50% higher than involute gear under same dimension.
